Taz Urban Vibes
Hello everyone!
I present to you a model inspired by one of my favorite childhood characters, with an urban and modern style. It's a fan art, designed with a lot of enthusiasm and dedication.
This 3D model is made for those who have a special affection for classic cartoons, offering a unique and contemporary interpretation of the character. I hope you enjoy it! 🚀
Design Details
📌 Easy to print
The compressed file (.zip) includes .STL and .3MF formats, optimized for 3D printers. Thanks to the .3MF format, it is possible to print the model in multiple colors using the AMS feature.
🛠 Easy assembly
The model is designed for intuitive assembly. Each piece fits perfectly, avoiding placement errors. For clarity, it includes orientation marks (such as arrows on legs, shoes, teeth, and nose) indicating the correct direction.
Head and Body
To assemble Taz's head, first make sure to glue the bottom part to the jaw (Face.stl) and then place the top part in its position.
When joining the body with the hoodie, keep in mind that you should place the already assembled head from the top. Then, the shirt should be inserted under the hoodie. Adjust all parts with a 3D printed screw for better stability.
Finally, place the shorts and the lower part to complete the assembly.
Additionally, I have prepared a step-by-step video to guide you through the process, Video.
👀 Eye Pupils
If you want to add an extra touch, you can cut a piece of black filament 2 to 3 mm and insert it into the eye. The eyes have a hole designed for 1.75 mm filament, making it easy to add detail without painting.
🎨 Printing versatility
This design consists of over 25 pieces, making it an interactive and fun model to assemble. All parts snap together, but it is recommended to use contact glue (super glue or cyanoacrylate) for parts such as eyes, whiskers, and legs.
📁 File Organization
The files are organized into individual folders by body section for easy identification and assembly:
Each folder includes a subfolder 3MF, where you'll find the multicolor files ready for printing.
📌 .3MF Files
This model is primarily designed in multipart, including hoodie, t-shirt, shoes, and shorts in color.
🔹 Important note:
The top of the head and the mouth (FACE.stl) must be printed in multicolor, as they are not divided into sections due to technical limitations.
If you want to customize it, you can do so through the color palette in your slicer. Keep in mind that the colors shown in the software are illustrative and serve as a guide. You should set your printer with the corresponding colors, from 1 to 4.
The .3MF files cannot be manually edited, as they are high-quality models with a high level of detail. Painting them manually could be tedious, so I’ve already done that work for you.
Lastly, remember that what you see on screen is enlarged 100 times compared to the actual print. Any small detail or imperfection caused by the slicer will be practically imperceptible in real life.
🛠 Model Assembly
The design has been tested and adjusted to ensure a smooth assembly.
🔹 Key recommendations:
- Disable the "Horizontal Expansion" option in your slicer.
- Set the filament flow to the default value of your printer.
- Respect the recommended temperature by the filament manufacturer.
Here are the colors for the model. In my case, I used basic PLA.
- 🔴 Red
- ⚪ White
- ⚫ Black
- 🟤 Dark Brown (chocolate)
- ✌🏼Skin (medium tone)
- ⚙️ Dark Grey (carbon)
- 🍷 Bordeaux (wine red)

Review
The Tasmanian Devil, known as Taz, is an iconic character from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. He first appeared in 1954, created by Robert McKimson. Taz is a wild and energetic creature, famous for his insatiable appetite, destructive whirlwinds, and his unique way of speaking in growls and babbles. Although his temper is explosive, he also has a comedic and clumsy side, making him one of the most charismatic and beloved characters in the franchise.
